Fahmida Akter

Fahmida Akter is a Legal and Operations Associate at TRACE Consulting, bringing over five years of experience across legal support, program execution, and organizational operations within the development sector. Her expertise lies in translating policy into practice, with a focus on efficient delivery, stakeholder alignment, and inclusive program design.

Prior to joining TRACE Consulting, Fahmida worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she led global mentorship initiatives connecting thousands of young people in Bangladesh with international professionals in technology and language development. She played a key role in driving program execution while contributing to gender inclusion, HR functions, and operational systems. Her work included managing large-scale recruitment processes and coordinating strategic partnerships with stakeholders across multiple countries.

Earlier, she served as a project manager at Give Bangladesh Foundation, leading initiatives focused on livelihood development and economic empowerment for marginalized women. She was responsible for end-to-end project implementation, from design to delivery, ensuring measurable outcomes and sustainable impact.

Fahmida holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of Dhaka. She combines a strong legal and compliance foundation with practical, execution-focused experience, enabling her to contribute effectively to complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
