Shefayat E Shams Adib

Shefayat E Shams Adib is a full-stack developer at TRACE Consulting, with experience in web engineering, applied AI, and scalable system architecture. His expertise spans enterprise software development, computer vision, and natural language processing, with a consistent focus on delivering production-ready solutions across the public and private sectors. 

Prior to joining TRACE, Shefayat contributed to high-impact digital platforms, including Bangladesh's National Airport portal, now being developed into the official government website. He has built and delivered end-to-end solutions for clients including bKash, Shourav Group, the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, and Rajuk College, managing full product cycles from system design through deployment. 

His research spans four published papers, including work at the ACL BioNLP Workshop 2026, where his PsyDefDetect system placed 3rd in the shared task; a paper at AACL-IJCNLP 2026 stemming from the same system; and additional publications at ICCIT 2025 and ICSCA 2026. He has competed as a finalist and semi-finalist at national competitions, including the SOLVIO AI Hackathon, the National Blockchain Olympiad, the UIU Blockchain Olympiad, the MindSparks Business Case Competition, and the CodeRush Hackathon. 

He holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
