Overview
TRACE provides specialized advisory and implementation support for the design, development, and optimization of temperature-controlled logistics (TCL) and cold-chain systems. We help governments, development partners, and the private sector strengthen cold-chain infrastructure, improve food safety, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance the competitiveness of high-value agricultural, fisheries, livestock, and other perishable products in domestic and international markets.
Our multidisciplinary approach integrates technical engineering, infrastructure planning, supply chain optimization, regulatory advisory, investment planning, and digital technologies to develop efficient, climate-resilient, and commercially sustainable cold-chain ecosystems. TRACE brings together specialists with extensive experience leading technical assessments, investment planning, and implementation of international-standard temperature-controlled logistics systems across Bangladesh. Collectively, our experts have supported government agencies, development partners, and more than 30 private sector enterprises in designing and implementing integrated cold-chain solutions, facilitating TCL investments exceeding US$2.5 million and establishing more than 5,560 cubic meters (approximately 1,120 MT) of cold-chain infrastructure. Our team has also pioneered renewable energy-powered cold rooms, supporting climate-smart agricultural value chains while improving market access and reducing food loss.
