Recardo Saurav Antor Halder

Recardo Saurav Antor Halder is currently serving as the manager, business development and communications, at TRACE Consulting.

Recardo brings strong expertise in business development, trade policy, economic research, and program operations. He has led studies on time release studies (TRS), market access, export diversification, SPS issues, and non-tariff barriers and has managed procurement, grants, and stakeholder engagement under the U.S. government–funded Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project (BTF).

Recardo has previously worked at renowned local think tanks such as the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) and the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), contributing to proposal development, research reports, WTO issues, and policy analysis. His experience blends analytical rigor with practical skills in business development, communications, and policy advocacy. 
 

Recardo holds an advanced master's degree in Economics from Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, and bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
