Umme Mahbuba Tama

Umme Mahbuba Tama, a research associate at TRACE Consulting, has five years of experience in administrative logistics, human resources, and research coordination. 

Tama previously served as the administrative assistant & HR representative for the $32.4 million USDA-funded Bangladesh Trade Facilitation (BTF) Project, where she managed complex procurement and large-scale event logistics and coordinated recruitment and international HR compliance. Her background also includes roles as an executive administrator at IFAD Autos Limited and a research assistant at the Development Research Initiative, where she specialized in operational efficiency and data analysis. 

Tama holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in anthropology from Jahangirnagar University. She is highly proficient in technical writing, data visualization, and leveraging advanced AI applications to streamline project documentation. 

At TRACE, Tama focuses on conducting desk research and supporting the development of policy briefs and technical reports to drive impactful development initiatives.
