Bushra Haque

Bushra is a legal and policy specialist with extensive expertise in international trade law, regulatory reform, and legislative drafting. She holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the University of Dhaka, is an enrolled advocate of the Dhaka Bar Association, and completed her second LL.M. from the University of Georgia. 

Bushra is a policy and legal professional with extensive experience in trade facilitation, legislative development, and regulatory harmonization in Bangladesh. Through her work with the USDA Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project, she has contributed to the development and analysis of trade-related legal instruments aligned with WTO-TFA measures and international best practices. Her expertise includes stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, and legislative drafting, including contributions to the development of the Veterinary Drug Act in consultation with key public and private sector stakeholders.

Her work spans collaboration with government institutions, development partners, and policy bodies to strengthen legal systems, enhance regulatory effectiveness, and advance the implementation of globally aligned reforms.
